Warwick, RI is one of the oldest towns in the United States. It has a number of charming historical sections. The best thing about it is being on the water of Greenwich Bay. There are numerous parks where you can enjoy access to the beaches. However, there are several problems with Warwick, one being the economy. The recession has hit this place with an unemployment rate of 11%, higher than the national average. Home values have dramatically decreased and taxes are also very high according to the opinions of some residents. Rental prices aren't too bad in Warwick with one bedrooms starting around $600. You'll enjoy beautiful scenery and an historical atmosphere. But, the recession puts a damper on this charming seaside town.
