South Tampa

Tampa is not only a bustling city for business but also an outstanding convention/tourist and residential community.  Yahoo ranked Tampa as the 8th cleanest city in America.  Forbes Magazine ranked Tampa as the 5th best outdoor city in America.  NYU magazine has Tampa as a "top city for 20 somethings".  The Tampa growth rate continues to accelerate as Florida's population decreased overall for the first time in 2008.  South Tampa is located on the Interbay Peninsula which is surrounded by Tampa Bay, Hillsborough Bay and West Tampa.  There are approximately ten neighborhood associations within South Tampa.  Macdill Airforce base is located in South Tampa.  Traffic can be a "headache " at rush hour times.  However, it is well worth the congestion hassles to live, work and party in an "up and coming city as Tampa."  You are minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. Blue skies and temperate climates are common place in the western, central Florida metropolis.
