This quaint town of Salisbury, NC is home to about 28,000 residents. They've seen almost a 20% increase in population in the past decade. It has been recognized as one of the 50 best places for young people to live in America because of its strong education system and outstanding entertainment choices including great golf courses, nature trails, fishing, youth theaters, a museum, a zoo, water sports and dynamic parks. Memorable sites are found throughout the town while touring the old mansions and historical homes. Unique shopping and eateries abound along with several exceptional wineries. During the Civil War, Salisbury housed one of the major confederate prisons. This small town also has a vibrant business community which includes the national headquarters for grocery store giant, Food Lion. Apartment and single family home hunting is a joy in Salisbury with its many choices of historical and newly renovated structures.
