You have to be young at heart right? Just because you are a Senior doesn't mean you don't like to go out. If you still enjoy some
good chicken wings The Winghouse on US 19 in Palm Harbor is a great choice.
And right up the road on US 19 is Denny's in case the Early Bird special is more your scene.
If you want to kick back and relax, the Thirsty Marlin offers patio seating and a great atmosphere.
Compared to other retirement communities in the Tampa Area Highland Lakes is quite affordable.
Pinellas County Transit Authority operates 200 buses and trolleys on 35 unique routes to get you all over the area.
Public transportation can be confusing but the drivers and staff are very friendly and helpful for all of your needs.
Be sure to check when the place you are looking into was built. The newer additions are obviously mor
updated to today's standard of living.
There is a restriction of NO PETS in Highland Lakes. So if you are a dog or cat lover this is not the place for you.
There is plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment within walking distance to most homes in Highland Lakes .
Highland Lakes Association has a boat slip, community heated pool, community hot tub/spa, Olympic sized community pool, three 9 hole executive golf courses, recreation building with over 40 clubs and large auditorium, shuffleboard, two Pontoon touring boats, lighted tennis courts and much more.
