Overland Park is a growing, thriving community that has a growing abundance of shopping, entertainment, dining and recreation opportunities available. The cost of living in Johnson county is high, but there is a tremendous amount of luxury living options available with apartment communities.

If you are moving to the Kansas City area - you have to check out Overland Park - it is just 20 minutes or less from downtown, offers the conveniences of suburban living, but the amenitites of a huge metropolitan area.
Check out the JO - this is a public transportation system that runs through the Overland Park/ Johnson County area.
If you find an apartment you like - lease it. A nice apartment at a good price will go fast.
