Raleigh

Raleigh, TN borders the Bartlett area of the Memphis Metropolitan.  It neighbors the Charles Baker Airport to the south and east of the famed Davey Crockett Golf Course.  It is known as one of the highest points in Memphis overlooking the Wolf Run river.  Raleigh is located in Shelby County, which is Tennessee's largest county in both population and geographic size. Intersecting Raleigh is Covington Pike with many car dealerships, motorcycle shops and specialty motor shops.  On the northern end is the acclaimed Methodist Memorial Hospital and the Raleigh Springs Mall.  Raleigh is home to two excellent schools, Raleigh-Egypt High School (known regionally as a perennial basketball powerhouse) and Craigmont High School (known for its unique International Studies Program). 

Housing choices abound in Raleigh with great choices in apartment and single family homes available.  This preferred community is conveniently located to the city of Memphis, the Mississippi River and the Mississippi state line.  Transportation around the area is a breeze whether you're driving the nearby interstates, navigating the popular waterways, commuting on trolley or riding the "rails".  Memphis' southern charm and wonderful year around climate can comfortably be experienced in Raleigh.
