Hickory Ridge

Hickory Ridge is a few square miles neighborhood area located between Route 4 and 385, just south of Rte 240.  Hickory Ridge neighbors the state line with Mississippi.  Hickory Ridge is best known for its Hickory Ridge Mall, which is a super regional mall with various entertainment and shopping venues.  Many of the stores have experienced downturns due to the recent economic recession.  New Mall owners and shop store fronts encourage new shoppers to the area.  Approximately 37,000 residents call Hickory Ridge home.  The overall population has declined slightly over the last decade resulting in excellent rental and housing values.  There are many beautiful apartment complexes and single family home neighborhoods to choose from.  The convenience to the vibrant Memphis business and shopping/nightlife districts make Hickory Ridge a good real estate value.  The access to the excellent road, rail and water system is definite plus for this area.  The comfortable, moderate climate continues to attract people to the Memphis metropolitan area.
