Summerlin is one of the most desireable areas to live in the Las Vegas Valley. It is a huge master-planned community offering many rentals at prices a bit higher than other areas, but well worth the extra money.

Summerlin is a community where diversity is welcomed.  Home to residents of all ages, incomes, races and religions, spiritual diversity is thriving. This is represented by the wide range of religious faiths and houses of worship located in Summerlin, including Nevada's first Hindu Temple.




Summerlin is home to so many great bars, clubs and restaurants, it's impossible to list them all here. Whether you're looking for a quick bit to eat in a neighborhood bar, or an upscale dinner to entertain clients, you'll have no problem finding exactly what you are looking for in Summerlin.

In addition to the many neighborhood restaurants and bars, Summerlin is home to the Suncoast Hotel and Casino, and the Rampart Hotel and Casino. Both of these very popular locals hang outs offer even more restaurants and bars, along with gambling.




The quality of life in Summerlin is unsurpassed by any other area in the Las Vegas Valley. Due to the natural beauty of the surrounding area, the upscale businesses in the area, and the infrastructure of the community, Summerlin is a desireable place to live and therefore, the cost of rent in Summerlin is a bit higher than many other Las Vegas neighborhoods, but well worth the additional cost!




The Las Vegas CAT system runs through and around Summerlin on a regular basis. Most people who live in Summerlin prefer to drive their own autos. Traffic is relatively light the majority of the time.

The most common complaint made by the residents of Summerlin are the traffic circles which are common on many of the streets in Summerlin. Many residents have difficutly navigating these traffic circles and a quick refresher course on how to drive properly wouldn't be a bad ides for some of the residents who live there!!




You should have no problem finding the perfect home or aparment to rent in Summerlin, although if you can, save your pennies before you plan on moving. Rental prices in Summerlin are higher than many other areas in Las Vegas.




Summerlin is extremely pet friendly with dog parks and pet store aplenty!




The entertainment and recreation choices abound in Summerlin. Whether it's the PGA Military Outreach Program held at the TPC Golf Course each year, or the annual Summerlin Arts Festival, the free concerts held at Trails Park or even a leisurly drive, or invigorating hike in Red Rock Canyon, located a mere 10 minutes away, you'll never hear yourself say "there's nothing to do"!




Summerlin itself is a recommended neighborhood/area. Boca Park, a large shopping complex and dining locale, can be an all-day outing. Or you could picnic in the many parks throughout Summerlin.

Over 30% of Summerlin has been designated as community space. Recreation activities also include an expansive trail system extending over 150 miles, golf courses, landscaped and natural preserved areas.




Shopping of all kinds is plentiful in Summerlin. Because it is an upscale master-planned community, many of the shopping centers in Summerlin are just as beautiful as the rest of this community.  You are never more than 10 minutes away from absolutely anything you may want or need.




Summerlin is home to both public and private schools. With the massive growth that took place in the 1990's in Las Vegas, schools were built to accommodate the unflux of families moving to the Summerlin area.
