Inver Grove Heights, MN is small and stable bedroom community close to the Twin Cities. Most folks here are educated. The incomes are higher than the state average. It's very safe. You have lots of recreational choices with the Mississippi River nearby and plenty of parks. You have few entertainment choices. So for concerts, art galleries, and plays, you'll need to drive into the city. You have several choices for apartments. However, only 23% are renters in this community so it won't be like a college town where there are miles of apartment complexes. The cost of living is a little higher than the average U.S. city. Thus you'll pay from $920 to $1,400 for an apartment in Invers Grove. The schools are decent and so are the restaurants. However, it's a little on the vanilla side in terms of culture.
