Centrally located in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, just south of Greensboro is the city of Highpoint. With a population of around 105,000 residents and some 50 retail furniture outlets available, Highpoint has been regarded as the "Furniture Capital of the World". High Point boasts of its parks and recreational areas, and their city services have been rated as good to excellent by residents. High Point residents and visitors stay busy visiting museums, art galleries, the community theatre, and public parks with recreation areas. High Point has an excellent public school system and it is home to High Point University. The larger cities, in the Piedmont Triad area, that are close by also add to the activities and educational opportunities as well.

High Point has a population of a little over 101,500 according to the 2006 cencus and is the 8th largest municipality in NC
There are lots of resturants in High Point. There are a few a recommend. JB Nobles on Main Street in High Point, Liberty Steakhouse on Eastchester in High Point, as well as Aquaria Seafood Grill in High Point on Eastchester as well.
Live at Laurel Springs!!! It is the best place to live in High Point.
High Point has a number of museums, libraries and special attractions such as: Angela Peterson Doll and Miniature Museum, Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library, High Point Community Theatre, High Point Museum and Historica Park, Historic Castle McCullough.
Gold's Gym at 5826 Samet Drive in High Point is an excellent facility with lots of programs for the entire family.
Home of High Point University with 3,000 students from 52 countries and 36 states. It is ranked by US News and World report as 6th among comphrensive universities in the South and within the top 100 nationally
