Griffin is little town that's a bit of a drive from Atlanta if you're wanting to commute. You can get good value for your money with general living expenses and housing. Apartments will have more to offer for the same money in Atlanta. It's not a bad place to hang your hat, but it's not the most exciting. In fact, boredom is rampant. And it's a long drive for a spontaneous drive to Atlanta. It has everything you need in terms of shops. It's clean and organized, but there's not much to do. The schools aren't absolutely dreadful, but they're not much to brag about either. If you want quiet, mundane, and nondescript with average opportunities, this is your place.
