Overview
(edit)
Fullerton is one of the larger, older cities in the county, bridging the wealthier areas of Yorba Linda and Placentia with the central heart of Anaheim, Orange and Santa Ana. Fullerton has placed an emphasis on historical preservation and an artistic/cultural renovation of their downtown district, giving certain neighborhoods the feel of a 1930's or 40's movie set, with wide quiet streets and towering elm and oak trees.
At the same time, being the home of the gigantic Cal State University, Fullerton has always had a population that has skewed younger and faster, and the city has always been quick to accept and foster that relationship, giving the city a mix of carefully tended history and fast-and-loud immediacy. Prices vary widely here depending on the district within the city, but Fullerton offers different tastes for different lifestyles.

If you enjoy night life then you%u2019ll probably love Fullerton. This city has emerged as one of the top hot spots in Orange County on any given weekend. During the week, the city is quiet and well maintained. However when the weekend rolls around, break out the champagne and get your dancing shoes on because Downtown Fullerton comes to life. The best part about this area is that there is a wide mix of people due from locals to students at Cal State Fullerton. An eclectic mix of cultures and lifestyles that makes living here a treat. Being a recent college graduate, I love spending a night here with friends, having a few drinks and dancing the night away.
