Fergus Falls is a scenic small town in western Minnesota, 180 miles northwest of Minneapolis, located along the Otter Tail River in Otter Tail County. The town has a population of about 14,000 proud residents that maintain the community through keeping the businesses strong, residential neighborhoods attractive, and the scenic areas a draw for visitors.

These include the falls, over 1,000 lakes for fishing, boating, and swimming, a nature learning center, world-class horse arena, and numerous biking, walking, and snowmobiling trails. The city is the anchor point to the Pine to Prairie Birding Trail, Minnesota's first birding trail, and the Otter Trail Scenic Byway, a major trail of the region.
