Edmonton, Kentucky

Edmonton is a very small town located in south central Kentucky. Even though Edmonton is the county seat of Metcalfe County, the population was only around 1,500 at last census.

While there are not many apartments available in Edmonton, the ones that are available tend to be older, smaller complexes. Edmonton apartments are very affordable and are strategically located throughout town, ensuring that residents are close to some employment and activities.

Employment, though it is available, isn't widely varied. Many residents of Edmonton work in manufacturing, retail or construction. Other industries are available outside of town in neighboring communities.

Many families have chosen to call Edmonton home. There are a few public schools available, many of which are located just outside of almost any Edmonton apartment complex. Kid friendly activities are also available, mostly playgrounds and libraries.

Activities and shopping opportunities are available inside of the town of Edmonton. Most of the activities include historical sites, hike and bike trails and parks. Shopping in Edmonton is limited to shopping centers and a few independent stores, though most major chains are available in town.
