Want to feel like a king? How about living and doing business in the "Queen City" as Charlotte is affectionately known. Charlotte has a Southern charm combined with cosmopolitan attractions for all. The main streets are built on a gridiron pattern, which makes getting around the city rather easy. Charlotte has educational and performing art centers within easy access and with numerous pubs, restaurants and retail shops make it a city for all. There are trolleys, lite rail and buses available for reasonable prices making commuting easy.
Aside from the city center, Charlotte has major sporting venues, including Lowe's Motor Speedway, NASCAR hall of fame, and more than 40 public golf courses within easy reach. The US National Whitewater Center calls Charlotte home. It is an outdoor facility with 14 miles of biking, hiking and running trails and the world largest re-circulating river.

Charlotte is a wonderful place to live. The seasons are beautiful, the people are friendly and you can get away to the beach or mountains in 3 hours or less.
I think that Charlotte is a beautiful city. Charlotte has alot to offer. I am currrntly living in South Carolina where the unemployment rate is high and the job outlook does not look good to me. I am a single parent and needing a change will help me alot because where I am there is not alot of things to offer a young person. I like my hometown becaue this is where I grew up and my family is here but now it is time for a change in my life and in my daughter's life as well.
