 Overview (edit)

Situated in Palm Beach County is the wonderful Floridian oasis of Boca Raton. Boca Raton apartment dwellers reside in a city with approximately 87,000 citizens who relish in this gorgeous community. Positioned as the largest city in the middle of Pompano Beach and West Palm Beach, Boca Raton apartment occupants are in a prime location to have serious fun and relaxation!

The name Boca Raton has an interesting meaning! Boca Raton means Mouse Mouth in Spanish. That's just weird! Quite sure their earliest habitants would have felt the same way. The Tequesta Indians were the first to stamp this land as home, residing in communities on the oceanfront for thousands of years until the 1700s. With the arrival of the Florida East Coast Canal and the Florida East Coast Railway in the late 19th century, people started to migrate to the area in record numbers.

Boca Raton apartment dwellers reside in a city that grew from a tiny agricultural community. In the early 1900s, many farmers specialized in pineapple cultivation. Incorporation of the city came in May of 1925, at the height of the Florida land boom. The town council sought the opportunity for Boca Raton to become a resort destination like other parts of the Florida coast. The council commissioned Addison Mizner, an acclaimed architect, to design a world-class resort community. His offering was the Cloister Inn that opened in 1926. This Boca Raton landmark is currently functioning as the Boca Raton Resort and Club. Talk about preservation!

Located on the South Florida coast, Boca Raton apartment residents live in a city with unyielding natural beauty. Once you have settled into your Boca Raton apartment home, visit some of the places that are exclusive to the city. Take a stroll or plan a picnic for Mizner Park. If you are a museum buff, the National Cartoon Museum or the Boca Raton Museum of Art always have their doors open.

Boca Raton apartment dwellers are privy to an affluent community who take pride in their great city. You are sure to find a Boca Raton apartment home that fits your specific style and taste. Make sure to look at as many Boca Raton apartment communities possibly before you decide. The problem will not be if there is one to your liking, the problem will be which one will I choose!

Weather

South Florida weather is typically mild.  Rainy season is from May thru November and Hurricane season is June to November.  Winters are mild and the breezy beach breezes really keep the 100 degree weather away that is found in the central part of the state.
