Overview
(edit)
Arnold Missouri is a large city in Jefferson County. The population as of last census was 21,000, making it the largest city in the county. A fairly new town, Arnold was incorporated in 1972 and was named after the postmaster.
Homes and apartments are a mix of old and new. Most apartments are newer construction, and are considered to be very reasonably priced. Homes are also very affordable, and most have been well maintained by the owner. Some older homes may lack modern amenities.
A variety of activities are available in Arnold, and most if not all are family friendly. In addition to outdoor pursuits such as golf courses, hiking trails and parks, Arnold is also home to Rickman Auditorium, where residents can catch nationally touring acts. Nightclubs and bars are a short drive away in nearby St. Louis.
Most employment and major industry is located in St. Louis as well. Athough St. Louis is a short drive away, this might be unattractive to a potential resident who would like to work and live in the same town.
Education is plentiful and varied, with the choice of public, private or charter schools.
