Living in Hooper
The city is located close to Ogden Hinckley Airport, with Highway 15 and Highway 84 nearby. You'll most likely need a car if you pick up sticks and move to Hooper, as the city doesn't score very high in walkability. For most errands you'll need a car, although the city center is well- served with amenities and grocery stores such as Kent's Market, the Oriental Market, and WinCo Foods -- perfect for stocking up on essentials.
If you're not already a lover of the great outdoors, you certainly will be once you put down roots in sunny Utah. The city is home to a number of parks and open spaces, so grab your Frisbee, pack a picnic, and get set to enjoy! Hooper Park near the city center is a popular spot, although locals also head for Meadow Creek Pond Park, and Emma Russell Park on their days off -- both are just a couple of miles from the city center. The community has a number of schools in the city center such as Hooper School, Freedom School, and Country View School, as well as those which are further to the south of the city such as West Point School.
